The drive: From Locarno take the direction for Vallemaggia. Once in Peccia, at the Valle di Peccia-Fusio crossroads, turn left. After 100 metres, as soon as you cross the bridge over the river, turn left again and follow the forest road for another 400 metres.
The Grotto Pozzasc is located in Peccia (upper Maggia Valley on the Lavizarra Valley), in an idyllic spot by a natural pool formed by the river of the Peccia.
The Grotto, that originally served as a mill, is not far from the Mario's Botta Mogno church and Fuzio village. More info here!
Food: Every day polenta is prepared by the fireplace and served with starters, various cheeses, mortadella and codegotto. Other specialities such as minestrone, braised tripe, sausages from the in-house "Metzgete", homemade cakes and sweets.
